As soon as you arrive onto Chincoteague Island over the bridge: Turn Right at light onto Main St. heading South.

Go to the very end of South Main St. (approx. 3 miles).

Turn left into the Town Curtis Harbor. When you first enter the harbor, proceed to the left side of the harbor, past the restrooms/harbor master building, and go to the very end of the road (free parking) to the floating dock #3. Arrive 10-15 minutes early.

As soon as you arrive over the bridge onto Chincoteague Island: Turn Right at light onto Main St. heading South.

Drive approx. 1 mile, Turn left onto Bunting Rd.

Merge Right onto Ridge Road. Very soon Turn left onto East Side Rd. Very soon Turn Right into Chincoteague Veteran’s Memorial Park.

Pass the playground, then park either in front of the sports field area or at the parking lot on the left by a cross and a kayak launch dock. Meet the kayak guide at the parking lot. We have a white Ford truck with Assateague Explorer sign. Free parking & restroom. Arrive 15 minutes early.
